It was fabulous, tidy and with whistling toilet.

Nothing to complain about, the venue met required needs, do recommend it. Had a fantastic stay for 1 night, everything was great. The staff were all informative and kind. This accommodation had a very central setting near the galleries on the other side of the river which were easy to walk to. Plus, it was really close to museums and south bank, Southbank attractions and restaurants and grocery.

I stayed for a two-night business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient location, making it easy to attend my meetings. The room was modern and well-equipped, offering a comfortable bed for restful nights. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. I also enjoyed the complimentary drinks upon arrival and appreciated the complimentary breakfast choices, which featured a variety of fresh options.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, offering early check-in without a hassle, and as an IHG member, I appreciated the perks. My room was spacious and comfortable, particularly the bed, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk from the river with easy access to city attractions and the nearby museums. Plus, I seized the opportunity to stroll along the bridge to explore the area more. It was a great experience!

We had a very lovely stay for 1 night.

Everything was very good, the staff were exceptionally courteous and the location was excellent! Location: the hotel was next to Southbank, the CBD or the stadium & Caxton Street, both the city centre and the river which are both short walks away and the river, mall, Roma St railway station. The breakfast was excellent quality and the best, the check in was early.

I had a wonderful stay at Voco, where the check-in experience was nice. The staff took their time to provide valuable local insights and made me feel welcomed. My room was spacious and comfortable, making it a pleasure to relax. The location is fantastic; I found it easy to explore the area using nearby parking and accessible transport options. The check-out process was just as pleasant, with attentive staff genuinely interested in my plans. I can’t wait to return and make this my regular spot!

Nothing to complain about, except that chair 🪑!

The Mercure is located perfectly, right across the river from South Bank, which was a lovely walk across the bridge. It's also within walking distance from the city, so we were able to walk into the city with ease... We went out for dinner and took a taxi because it was raining, but because of the perfect location we didn't pay much on the fares because we were so close to everything.

I thought the staff were very friendly and efficient and the location is ideal for someone who wants to be close to restaurants and shopping. The view over the Brisbane river is certainly world class and the tariff is affordable for a quality hotel. Overall I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my stay and I will certainly be looking to stay at the Mercure on my next trip to Brisbane.

Two minor points:- I burnt my hand on the kettle when lifting it after it boiled. The design is poor in that there is a steam escape near the handle. I found the maximum volume level on the TV too low although my hearing isn't the best, but it may need to be raised a notch or two.

Breakfast spread was excellent with excellent options.

The position of the hotel and the convernience it gave to access city & river areas. Great river views. The hotel staff were very friendly, happy and helpful.

The bathrooms were outdated and need renovating.

The Mercure is in a great position for walking to shops and restaurants. We do think the hotel could do with a spruce up as it's a bit old and tired looking. Staff were helpful and the rooms clean
